What inspired you to open your business?  After over 25 years of working in the corporate world I decided to follow my passion. I had dreamed of the day I would open my own boutique and share my passion for mixing style with comfort. Throughout my career the opportunity to travel allowed me to shop all over the United States and the world.  I found hours of enjoyment in the small boutiques which provided individual service, unique product lines and an eclectic sense of style not available in chain stores.  When I relocated to Rockford following my marriage,  I decided to try to make my dream come true for myself and, hopefully, to share some of that experience with my customers.

What is your favorite thing about what you do? Creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for customers is my number one joy.

When you’re not running your business, what are you doing in your “spare” time? I love weekend getaways that involve shopping and dining at unique local retailers.

How many years have you participated in Wine, Women & Purses and what do you like about this event? This will be my second year participating.  I enjoy connecting and partnering with others who share the same philosophy of community involvement and helping others.

What item, trend, or product are you most excited about this Fall? We’re seeing a lot of BOLD PLAID this season, in everything from shoes, to handbags, to shirt dresses and ponchos.  In the jewelry category, chokers and wrap bracelets are hot, hot, hot.
