Gifts of Stock
Donating stocks allows you to make investment and tax decisions with your financial advisor that may provide benefits to you for your charitable deduction. If you would like to make a gift of stock, please contact the development office for stock transfer instructions at funddevelopment@ywcanwil.org or 815-316-6123.
Give from your IRA
If you are 70.5 or older and have a traditional IRA, you can rollover a gift directly to the YWCA Northwestern Illinois. IRA gifts are generally not recognized as taxable income and if you must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) this year, giving from your IRA is a compassionate way to fulfill it.
Support YWCA Northwestern Illinois through your Donor-Advised Fund
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are investment accounts for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations. DAF gifts allow you to direct giving to support the mission of the YWCA Northwestern Illinois and make an impact in our community while enjoying charitable tax benefits.
