The YWCA Illinois Welcoming Center is a one-stop human service center designed to help immigrants navigate Illinois’ human services delivery system. This program can offer the following services:

  • Provide linguistically and culturally sensitive case management and service coordination for immigrants and refugee individuals and families to help them secure services needed.
  • Offer emergency and crisis services for immigrants and refugees using a strength-based and family-centered intake assessment that guides the service plan.
  • Know Your Rights workshops on topics of importance to help immigrants and refugee individuals and families learn about resources and information with the goal of strengthening the capacity of the immigrant community.
